In December 2025, Ocalenie Foundation together with the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw and the Friends of the Museum of Modern Art, invite you to the ninth edition of the exhibition and charity auction, which are a gesture of solidarity in support of the artistic community for migrants and refugees.

Think of Others. Think of Yourself is an exhibition presenting the works of over 40 artists who have donated their works to a charity auction. The previous title of the project, Refugees Welcome, referring to the 2014 international movement for hospitality towards refugees, is replaced this year by a new slogan: “Think of others. Think of yourself.” The words of Mahmoud Darwish, one of the most important Palestinian poets of the 20th century, become not only an invitation to empathy, but also a question about our attitude towards the world. It is a call to reverse our perspective—to see ourselves not so much as guests, but as co-responsible, co-participating, and co-creating a community, and perhaps also as people who may one day need support.

All proceeds from the auction (which will take place on December 7, 2025, in the auditorium on the ground floor of the Museum of Modern Art) and from the sale of editions of the works (from November 28, 2025) will be allocated to real assistance provided by the foundation in two key projects: Refugees Welcome Polska and the Help Center for Foreigners.

The exhibition will feature works by Magdalena Abakanowicz, Edward Dwurnik, Wilhelm Sasnal, Karol Radziszewski, Julia Woronowicz, Joanna Piotrowska, and others.
